Jeffrey Bliss: President (Washington, DC)
Jeff has 30 years of management experience in Fortune 500s, early stage companies and global event organizations. He was most recently President/CEO of the Sara Lee Olympic Partnership, a division responsible for a $100 million investment that drove $500 million in 1996 Olympic retail sales and created $200 million in new business for 23 Sara Lee food and apparel brands, including Champion, Hanes, Coach and Hillshire Farm, in 17 countries.
He was previously in senior management with The Gillette Company, Xerox Corporation, H.P. Hood and New Balance, as well as CMO/SVP of World Cup 1994, which resulted in a $50MM surplus that funded the US Soccer Foundation; and Director of the 1984 LA Olympics that resulted in a $225MM surplus, which funded the Amateur Athletic Foundation. Jeff was named 1996 Brandweek Marketer of the Year.
Jeff is a graduate of Colgate University, received an MBA from Boston University/UCLA and participated in graduate studies at Suffolk Law School and Harvard. He is an adjunct professor and program director for The GWU School of Business and has been on the Advisory Committees of Special Olympics International, Women's Sports Foundation, Immersion Media, Stop Child Abuse Now and the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association.
Regularly quoted in major business publications, Jeff has been a featured guest on networks such as NBC, CNN, CNBC, National Public Radio and Canadian Radio. He is also a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and guest lecturer at business schools such as Wharton, GWU, Kellogg and Georgetown.
